What z4j.com collects

This marketing website is static and hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It runs Google Analytics 4 for anonymous pageview and referrer counts. Nothing else third-party loads: no advertising tags, no cross-site tracking, no session replay.

Analytics storage starts denied. Visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland are shown a consent banner and nothing is stored until they accept; if we cannot determine the jurisdiction we show the banner. Elsewhere analytics storage is granted automatically and the banner does not appear. Your choice is remembered in your browser under the local-storage key z4j-consent, and you can change it by clearing site data for this domain. The site also stores your light or dark theme preference under z4j-theme.

Analytics data is processed by Google under their own terms. Cloudflare may log standard HTTP request metadata (IP, user-agent, timestamp) under their own privacy policy.

What z4j collects (self-hosted)

When you self-host z4j, all data stays in your infrastructure. z4j stores:

  • User accounts (email, display name, argon2id password hash)
  • Task events (with secrets redacted before leaving your agent)
  • Audit log entries (admin actions, auth events)
  • Agent metadata (hostname, capabilities)

None of this data is transmitted to z4j.com or any external service. You own your data.

Telemetry

z4j does not phone home. There is no telemetry, no usage reporting, no license-check call. z4j works fully air-gapped.
